Dwip Ratan Mahajan serves as Principal Advisor – Finance, Legal & Governance to BSPM Trust, supporting the Trust’s long-term mission in healthcare access, education, and social impact through institutional rigor, global perspective, and governance stewardship.
He brings global exposure in healthcare innovation and life sciences, including experience investing in, advising, and serving on the boards of healthcare and technology companies in the United States.
His commitment to social impact predates his current role and includes philanthropic involvement in large-scale public-health and child-welfare initiatives, notably UNICEF India’s Polio Eradication Program and Save the Children UK. Dwip comes from a family lineage rooted in stewardship and public service, with ancestral origins in a Zamindari family that played a formative role in regional economic development and social welfare. From an early age, Dwip was exposed to community welfare and public-service initiatives, shaping a long-standing commitment to social impact.
Dwip is a graduate of The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he earned an MBA with a focus on finance. Corporate Law, at the Harvard Law School. He also holds a Masters Degree in Biotechnology with First Class Honors
